Sunday - June 20, 2010

Sunday Afternoon Sightseeing Tour of Williamsburg:
(For registered EUFMC attendees & families)

     The EUFMC's most requested tour guide, John Sutton, will offer a walking tour specifically for EUFMC registrants and their families.  Participants will depart from the Williamsburg Lodge Conference Center Arrival Hall at 2:00 pm; the tour will last approximately 90 minutes.

     The tour will provide an overview of the restored and reconstructed sites in Colonial Williamsburg and the important history of Virginia's Colonial Capital.  Please pick up a complimentary Colonial Williamsburg admission ticket for EUFMC registrants at the EUFMC registration desk.

"Yorktown: The Last Major Battle of the Revolutionary War"
(For registered EUFMC attendees & families)

     An educational, interactive dramatic presentation led by John Sutton.   Volunteers will interpret the key players in the battle including George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Lafayette and Rochambeau.

     Attendees and their families may attend; children are encouraged.

Golf for Spouses:
Golf For Spouses

     Registered EUFMC Spouses are invited to play nine holes on the Spotswood Executive Course located across the street from the Lodge.  Green fees and cart rental courtesy of EUFMC.

     Interested in playing?  Please register at the EUFMC Registration Desk.  Check in at the Golden Horseshoe at 8:30 AM; Golf begins at 9 AM.  Please note that rental equipment, buckets of balls, and food and beverages are an individual expense.

     To reserve rental clubs, you will want to call the Golden Horseshoe Gold Course Pro Shop when you arrive in Williamsburg.  Registered EUFMC spouses are invited to play, pre-registration preferred.

Tuesday - June 22, 2010
James River Plantation Tour for Spouses:

     Spouses will depart Tuesday morning via charter bus for Westover Plantation circa 1730.  The program includes an exclusive tour of the mansion known for its secret passageways and recognized as one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture.

     Located on the James River, the Westover estate features gardens with 150 year old poplars and ancient boxwoods.  Additional stops will be incorporated into the tour as time allows.

     A luncheon will follow and spouses will be returned to the Williamsburg Lodge in the early afternoon.
