The 59th Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference will be held June 3-6, 2012 at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia. The earlier dates are the result of feedback from attendees during general sessions over the past few years indicating a desire to move the conference away from Father's Day weekend and to a hopefully cooler part of late spring/early summer. EUFMC will be held beginning the first weekend in June for the next five years.

The Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) is an annual meeting of fleet representatives from investor-owned utility companies. The 2011 Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference attracted 100 fleet representatives from over 50 companies, including more than 30 first-time attendees. Participating were fleet executives from investor-owned electric utilities, electric cooperatives and electrical contractors from across the U.S., Canada and South America. The EUFMC outdoor exhibit is the site of more than 60 displays where fleet managers can meet with over 270 representatives from more than 100 manufacturers and service providers. Expanded to meet the need for larger equipment and growing interest in the conference by leading suppliers of vehicles and equipment for the electric utility industry, the showcase also includes indoor displays. Conference activities include one day for a drive-thru utility equipment demonstration and equipment show, and two days of speakers and presentations on industry issues as well as roundtable best practices discussions. For details on the EUFMC General Session, click here.

In 2012 EUFMC will be held at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center. Registration will open in January, 2012.

For Manufacturers & Service Providers:

Due to the desire to provide an equitable ratio of vendors to fleet representatives, manufacturers and service providers attend and exhibit at EUFMC conference by invitation only. The focus of the equipment drive-thru demonstration and show is utility equipment vehicles and aerial devices. The afternoon equipment show includes service providers that do not participate in the morning equipment drive-thru. Additional requests from manufacturers and service providers are considered as space is available. Please refer to the EUFMC Conference Rules and Regulations for information on registration fees and requirements for manufacturers and service providers attending the EUFMC.

Utility vehicle and equipment manufacturers and industry service providers that did not participate in the previous conference that wish to be considered for an invitation to the next EUFMC event should complete the online request form. Participation requests are reviewed by the EUFMC Equipment Show Coordinator and EUFMC Board.

The objective of the conference is the dissemination of information pertaining to the procurement, application, operation and maintenance of equipment used by electric utilities. The meeting provides a forum where fleet representatives can exchange information and discuss mutual concerns. The conference promotes close cooperation between manufacturers, suppliers, services, and fleet representatives engaged in the development and design of vehicles and equipment associated with the electric utility industry.
