EUFMC WRAPS UP A HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL CONFERENCE

The return of EUFMC to Colonial Williamsburg was marked by record attendance. On site at the 68th annual conference were 157 representatives from fleets operating utility equipment, including 70 first-time attendees and this year as well nine new companies sent fleet professionals to the conference. Also in attendance were 337 representatives from 87 manufacturers and providers of vehicles, equipment, products and services for utility fleet operations.

“The largest EUFMC on record is especially gratifying considering the number of fleets and representatives who joined us for the first time,” said EUFMC Chairman Jeff Schneider, Louisville Gas & Electric-KU. “The Board of Directors is grateful for all the fleet and manufacturer representatives who made the EUFMC a success, and as always the conference isn’t possible without the support of our sponsors. We look forward to continuing to provide unparalleled educational value and to serving as the industry’s leading forum for fleet professionals and suppliers.”

The educational program at EUFMC 2022-- Driving Safety, Sustainability & Technical Expertise-- featured presentations by industry experts, manufacturers and fleet executives. EUFMC also included Roundtables where fleet representatives and suppliers exchange information and discuss mutual challenges, find solutions and develop best practices, a Drive-Through utility equipment demonstration, and an equipment show that is the site of more than 60 displays.

The 2023 EUFMC will be held June 4-7 at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia.


EUFMC General Conference Information

EUFMC is an educational conference attended by representatives of fleets from across the U.S. and Canada that operate, manage and maintain utility equipment. The annual conference is held at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia.

FLEETS ATTENDING EUFMC:

  • Specify, purchase, operate, manage and maintain nearly 160,000 vehicles and 38,000 pieces of equipment. Collectively, they spend almost $3.5 billion on assets annually.
  • Spend over $1.2 billion annually on labor, parts and fuel, and employ more than 4,200 technicians.

The EUFMC General Session is a two-day comprehensive educational program featuring presentations by industry experts, manufacturers and fleets. Fleet representatives and suppliers also participate in roundtable discussions to exchange information and discuss mutual challenges, find solutions and develop best practices.

Representatives from over 100 manufacturers and suppliers of vehicles, equipment, products and services for utility fleet operations attend EUFMC. The event includes a drive-through utility equipment demonstration and an equipment show that is the site of more than 60 displays.

EUFMC Conference Objective

The objective of the EUFMC, a non-profit association, is to provide educational and technical information pertaining to the design, procurement, application, operation, management and maintenance of utility equipment used by fleets.
